‘MR sa SC TRO ng ARMM poll, minamadali na’

NEW YORK – Inihahanda na umano ng gobyerno ang motion for reconsideration sa temporary restraining order (TRO) ng Supreme Court laban sa pagpapaliban ng ARMM elections.

Ginawa ng Pangulong Benigno Aquino III ang pahayag sa media interview sa New York City.

Sinabi ng Pangulo na dapat nilang bilisan ang paghahain ng mosyon dahil September na matatapos ang termino ng mga naupong ARMM officials.

“We are preparing an MR. There�s urgency because September 30 is the termination of the term,” ani Pangulong Aquino.

Sinabi naman ni Presidential Spokesman Edwin Lacierda na umaapela sila sa Supreme Court na pakinggan ang concerns ng ARMM stakeholders.

“ARMM stakeholders were incensed because what could have possibly been a new era of reform was stymied by the temporary restraining order. We hope the Supreme Court will kindly look into the concerns of the ARMM stakeholders,” ani Lacierda.
